Chamanna d‘Es-Cha
Bike & hike again. We cycled first to Madulain and up to Alp d‘Es-Cha Dadour. From there hiking up to the Chamanna d‘Es-Cha which is on 2600m altitude and embedded in the rocks in front of the Piz Kesch.
Can you spot the hut?
Of course cooling the feet in the fountain and enjoying a Rösti with fried eggs on top gazing at the wonderful mountain range.
Walking down, buying fresh alp brie and alp cheese and cycling home.
3 hours hiking, 2 hours cycling and mastering 900m altitude made us feel happy and tired alike. Luckily a cool breeze all day and a few clouds made the hot summer day very bearable. The low tonight will be at 8°.
Alp cheese, tomatoes, crackers and grapes with a glass of Carmignano for dinner.
