Poorly beast

just couldn't motivate myself today. might have something to do with my work suggesting that there are headcount reductions looming and that i'm in the affected 'pool' of people. I've been in this place before so I know how the process works and this time I at least have a plan for what to do if I find myself unemployed. More on that in a future blip, if it becomes necessary to implement the 'new career' plan.

Annoyingly the demotivating feeling spread to my photography as well so at 5 minutes to midnight I finally picked up the camera and fed our Chinchillas a little bedtime treat.
This one, the imaginatively named 'chilli' has somehow scuffed the back of his right paw so that it looks raw. So we have some antiseptic powder to apply and have been working out how on earth to get a chinchilla to sit still whilst the medication is applied. luckily, tasty treats to distract him seem to do the trick.
