Bird bath

I actually managed to get some time sitting in the garden as well as working on it today. It was really warm and everything was tidy with fresh mowed grass and the birds were hopping around and the cats curled up on the chairs so I felt really chilled.

Lovely long catch up on FaceTime with TGR. She is in Seattle right now then driving back down to California to do a 400 mile trail that she couldn’t do in May because of flooding. This time she just has to avoid Storm Hilary. By the time she has done that the wildfires in Washington State will hopefully have died down and she can finish the experience and cross the Canadian border in late September. Global warming - what global warming?

I didn’t watch the football today. I find it too stressful. England lost to Spain 1-0 in the end. The local pubs were packed out. Well done anyway for a brilliant tournament, lionesses.
