Filling the skip

Joined a crowd from the Players today with the big attic clear out. We formed a human chain to transport loads of ‘stuff’ down and sort out what was to skip, recycle and keep.  Yorkshirebred was very tempted to take the ‘circular saw’ home to keep for sentimental reasons but she eventually decided against it.
Coffee break and lunch sandwiches from the local butchers kept us going to fill the skip, take 2 trailer loads and a couple of car boot loads.  Local scrap metal man was contacted to collect items and Facebook came to the fore again bringing some folk to get items for upcycling.  A very good days work, the attic is now organised and has some clear space!
