Cutting back

Callum working today so I just got on with chores. Several loads of washing. Changed the beds. Supermarket shop delivery. Dogs walked.
Then this afternoon got round to some cutting back in the garden. The lavender has finished flowering so that was the main job. Plus some of the buddleia needed to be cut back and a couple of the branches still had some good flowers, so I put them all together in a bucket in case the bees can get a last feed from them.
They’ve had a very good run this year on the lavender it’s been in flower since about the third week in June.
