Ice cream stop

I was up early and down at church to set up for Messy Church, which went well. After messy church, I left the morning service with my colleague and took the rest of the morning off to spend some more time with Huddsbird.

We set out to do a recce for a parish walk. It started ok but very quickly the footpath became narrow and full of nettles, not good when wearing shorts! As we crossed over the road we saw that the footpath was even more overgrown with nettles, we'd also had to cross a style that might be difficult for some. I decided that this walk wasn't going to be very good for the group. As it had also started to rain we decided to head back to the car via the road. On the way back it rained hard for a bit. 

We decided to go to the local craft gallery for a wander around. The rain stopped and the sun was glorious, so we had an ice cream before heading to another new small gallery. 

It was a lovely day and a great weekend of catching up.  Physivic enjoyed the outings too.
