Kawandi coaster

I started this on an Angela Daymond class at Festival of Quilts . The Siddi people of India developed these quilts which are started from the outside and worked towards the middle. They are becoming quite a “thing”.
The Siddi are of African origin so form a distinct cultural group . Some are Christian and some either Hindu or Muslim- I didn’t catch which.
