With a Taste of Your Lips I'm on A Ride...

Mum,

When I went out, and you watched me wander down the street, scantily clad, and giddy with the excitement of what might come, did you wish it was you?

Boy went out with his school pals - the gang is all together again.. to a Pub Quiz; and then Tooli appeared and announced she was heading out too, to the same pub quiz.

I've just dropped her off - the pub is jumping, every table looks full; I could have just got out the car and joined them.

I remember the night of your 25th Wedding anniversary. I was the only one with keys for the house, and after the party, I had headed out. I was dancing away for all I was worth in the Anchorage, and whoever I was dancing with nodded behind me, I turned, and there was Dad looking for the keys; "Dad dancing" behind me....

I was beyond delighted to see him in there, but really wished he wasn't doing the Dad dancing...

I'm the same age as Dad was then... Would Boy and Tooli think the same? Would I "Dad dance?

We don't really grow up do we? We just act in a way that we think we should...(most of the time... you've had your moments) . But is it age that makes us Dad Dance?
