Urban Moment #5

Just outside the Katoomba Cultural Centre, there's these two pieces of functioning "art", which consist of (what I call) blowers, through which visitors are invited to speak. One's voice flows through pipes into a cluster of horns (see extra) just above. The naturally amplified sound is surprisingly effective. One blower is at a height where small children can speak into the system. There's also a blower situated at a height for the large children (i.e. adults). What fun.
