Give a fig

Friday night's storm brought them raining down so I made a fig cake. And I have given more away, along with plums and apples.
A load of Bramley windfalls will go to the community pantry today.
And blackberries are in full swing now. 
The freezer is already packed with summer fruit.

Everyone who has a garden or access to a piece of land should plant  fruit trees. If you don't benefit, others will.

(I have been stung by a wasp just the once so far. It was painful but soon over.)
