Not so cute nor cuddly!

Only one in the trap today but it’s a good start. Feral pigs cause major environmental damage in Australia but they are also a threat to native fauna and if cornered, a risk for humans. They are significantly smaller than a domestic pig and operate mainly at night but occasionally I see one during the day.
This one is an average size adult female and would weigh about 60 - 70 kgs.
