Wicken Fen

The morning was lovely and sunny, so decided to all go out for a family walk. We had discussed the previous day to go to the beach. However, we dismissed that idea as I didn't feel up to the long drive. We decide to explore Wicken Fen. - which didn't disappoint!

The water along the waterway was crystal clear and there were a few boats and narrow boats all moored up.  The water was crystal clear and you could see a myriad of small fishes swimming at the bottom. It's a lovely tranquil place and definitely worth exploring again. There were miles upon miles of white and pink water lilies .

The rest of the day was spent watching naff TV and reading.
