IGHTHAM MOTE

Today the weather tried to stop play…it didn’t win.
We had planned a picnic at Sissinghurst but as I left home in a summer dress the rain started. By the time I got to Tonbridge it was pouring!!!
I had a coffee and Ems and we decided to go to Ightham as it had a house so we could avoid the rain.
By the time we got there it was sunny!!!!!

#we went into the house. It was very interesting…like walking through history!!
We even managed to get a picnic outside in the sunshine. Then we moaned it was too hot!!!!
Afterwards we went to my goddaughters new flat for cake and cuppa. It was lovely to see her again.
