A lovely sunset....

.....couldn't really make up for a scary day.

My Mum has got worse over the past few days and was admitted to hospital this lunchtime (Sunday). Turns out she has a bacterial stomach infection and not a viral infection which the doctors had first thought and weren't treating.

She hasn't eaten for two weeks other than a mouthful here and there which was almost always brought back up straight away. She was managing to drink water but turns out not nearly enough.

She was sent straight to hospital from the doctors when they realised her blood pressure was so low, 60 over something!?!

After getting through A&E she was soon put on an antibacterial drip and hydration solution.

Early signs are looking good and she is slowly becoming more lucid.

She just needs to get the bacteria out of her system and her liver levels back to where they should be. The doctors seem to think she'll be in for a few days at least.

I will visit her tomorrow when hopefully she will be feeling a bit better after getting some goodness inside her.
