The absolute middle of nowhere…

BT connected us to fast fibre today. It was complex as the cottage is connected underground. They couldn’t find the duct, there is no nearby pole. The excellent engineer called in his boss and explained the it was a nice enough house but in the absolute middle of nowhere. We are a mile from the village and have a neighbour over the fence…he’s never been to Scotland I think to know the meaning of the term ! Anyway hats of to them, after a lot of problem solving and frustration they persevered, applied pick axes to the concrete and ultimately got us online.

Enjoyed a BBQ afterwards and truly feel relaxed now. Just two more challenges to get through and we are properly moved.
