Early evening.

The wee family came to visit. And our younger son came along too; it was good to hear of his final pre-season rugby game the day before - a win against a team from league above. The new players seem to be making an impact, and four regulars were missing.

We had dinner; my wife had made cottage pie, tasty and easy to keep warm. It was a bit of a backwards and forwards affair, our grandson was a wee bit unsettled. He makes many faces, some are happy, some less so. The benefits of last week’s garden project are already paying off, welcome room for loading a second car.
