Phoenix Park

Back up in the Phoenix Park with Colm for another tour. We were gathered here today to remember one of our friends, Robert Navan who passed away last December. Colm is using the skills that he learned from a tour guide course that he did to raise funds for various causes. He did the first two for Womens Aid and The Capuchin Day Centre. This one in honour of Robert was for the Irish Palestine solidarity campaign. It is a good way to earn funds as there is no outlay of costs for hiring halls or printing posters. Most of the people on the tour were contacted by social media. I know we give out about it having too much influence but it can be handy if used properly.
