Buddy was AWESOME today at XC. We had a go at some bigger stuff and even did a fairly big brush fence out of the water. No photo of that sadly. The instructor Liz Pears was absolutely brilliant. She just 'got' you and your horse straight away and made you believe you could tackle anything. I was really nervous and lots of times said 'I'm not doing that' and then did it!! I absolutely love Buddy's face on this. 

I'm still buzzing. It was just the best day. We also had a flatwork session this morning. (Not our favourite thing and so much to work on.)

This evening after a lovely BBQ we did some silly games which involved diving fully clothed in fancy dress into a paddling pool to retrieve some brave pants with your teeth before wearing them to skip to the finishing line, and removing a can of blue WKD from the paddling pool without using your hands, then drinking it through a snorkel as fast as you can (without throwing up!!) Amongst other things. It was hilarious!
