Ruby Throated ...

... hummingbird.

We had a support group meeting to attend tonight so we used this as an excuse to grab some yummy sandwiches from a deli we don't normally go to as it's across town.   We then had a lovely picnic supper before heading to the meeting.   

We didn't get back home until after 8 pm so I was glad I had spent some time photographing the wildlife in the backyard earlier in the day.  The focus on this shot isn't great but I really liked the motion!  We are still seeing a couple of hummingbirds but they will soon be leaving us to fly south.  That will be a very sad day for me :-(
