Skip it!
Backblipped for Saturday. Joined a bunch of the players and partners at the Congs today - a working party to sort out the loft where all the costumes, props etc are stored. There are very old stone steps up to the attic which turn and are narrow near the top, so a human chain was formed initially to bring the heaviest and bulkiest items down to the skip. It filled up pretty quickly and metals were separated for the local scrap man, whilst other items were loaded into cars and trailers for tip trips. Some locals also turned up to see what could be recycled or upcycled and seemed to go away happy with their finds. Sandwiches from the butchers for lunch break and then we carried on until mid-afternoon. Nearly brought home the circular saw in one photo as my hubby had helped to make and operate it - I think his blood pressure went through the roof during that show! :-)) I resisted though as I have enough "stuff" already! The skip was full to overflowing by the time we finished and the loft looked amazingly tidy. Woe betide anyone who messes it up again, haha! Very itchy and grubby after all that, so home up the hill (slowly!) and a long soak in the bath! A very satisfying day, but my bones and muscles will ache tomorrow!
