renovation

It seems the whole block is moving on up in the world, as all four corners were being renovated. Large men yelling, rocks crashing, hammers hitting, and wood falling were today's soundtrack. I most certainly have a headache but to see all the sweat and dust and unwanted building material strewn about makes me think American's really do have a thing for the "spring clean" episode of their lives. It makes sense though. Like moving- it's infinitely better to throw stuff away during a move and makes packing that much easier. And even cathartic.

Feeling better about yesterday. People need to loosen up. Perhaps take a compliment once in a while.
