windswept Gladioli

Not the best snap; but hopefully illustrates the completion of the recent, canalside wall-reconstruction ...

... and meantime; some deep-purple, Gladioli have sprung up from one of the nearby blue, planter-tubs : was all looking a bit windswept, earlier this afternoon!
