Little Swimmers

Our first outing to the outside pool at the YMCA even though it looked like rain all day. Since predicted thunderstorms never panned out, off to the pool to join the three other families who didn't pay attention to the weather predictions.

Alyssa is turning into a great swimmer. Nearly five years old, she has done four laps swimming the backstroke, and it still learning freestyle. Naturally, if her brother does it, she can too. So, with just a little angst, she follows Lewis down the pool tunnel slide. When she emerges from her splash, she is thrilled at her very own bravery, and proceeds to go again a few hundred times. And Lewis is an awesome big brother, telling her how impressed he is.
