Hunting lodge

We enjoyed a full day high above Zernez / Susch with friends in their hunting lodge. A day above 2000m altitude, with a cool breeze all day, having a BBQ with different game meat they hunted last year and fish they fished themselves in the Lago Bianco.

Of course gratins, salads, mushrooms and berries from the forest as side dishes and heavy red wine from Valtellina.

This years hunting season starts soon. It was very interesting to see what type of preparations are going on and what it takes to be successful within the very narrow set of strict rules local hunters have nowadays.
