Striding to the Tate
Another very busy, and very hot, day here in that London.
I had a meeting this morning in Mayfair so headed off pretty early although it was an easy trip from Shepherds Bush. After the meeting I popped into the Wallace Collection next door for a quick poke around before heading back to the apartment. A quick shower then out for more adventures with Osh. First stop was the Tate Modern for a happy few hours before meandering along to Borough Market via the Clink and the Golden Hind.
Food was purchased at Borough Market (obviously) and then we crossed the river to explore the alleyways of the city including a visit to Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, one of the few remaining 17th Century chophouses.
Pleasantly knackered after all that walking in the seasonably warm weather we wound our way back to the apartment to meet up with Ruby and Kelda and promptly collapsed.
Another lovely day in Londonshire.
