A Damp Day!

Today hasn’t been the best for photography ….. a wet morning and very poor light.

We headed to Grasmere where we had a wander round the shops finishing off with coffee and a scone. Back into the car and off to Hawkshead. The two villages couldn’t be more different. Grasmere buildings are made of grey slate while Hawkshead has a lot of whitewash.

The weather had improved by many the afternoon so we were able to sit outside and enjoy our afternoon cuppa.
