Haneda Airport

And we're off, kind of. We just realized yesterday that our trip back to England was going to have to start earlier than planned. The idea of getting flights from Haneda seemed like a great idea when I booked them--cheap tickets, the airport is easy to get to, and the arrival times are nice and early in the day--but the realization that there are no trains to get us to the airport in time for the early morning flight made all of that a moot point. After mulling over the various options like staying in an all-night karaoke place we opted for sleeping at the airport overnight and adding an extra six hours to what is already a long-haul flight. On the plus side, we were up for a great sunrise.
