Unlikely

I was told that the extendable funnel of the expensive oven hood did not adjust to a small enough length to fit it at a height that complied with safety requirements.  

The fitter cut a bit off so now I have no holes on the sides and a couple of centimetres from the top to the ceiling.  Even if the cut was necessary I don't understand the gap. 

The instructions and warranty registration info for new hob have also vanished.

There are a couple of other things not entirely to my liking but we are getting there. I hope.
