Grey Heron

The little female (pictured) and the adult male flew over to the park entrance this morning. As soon as they landed the little female chased the male off. I started feeding her and the male came back. Too close it appears as the little female went for him! When she turned round she had a beak full of down feathers. The male kept his distance after that but I was still able to feed him. There were also numerous crows the gull and the two juveniles. I then made my way to the clearing and the little moorhen and the nervous male heron were waiting for their feed.
