Cash in transit
Yesterday F and I were invited to his #No. 1 daughter's birthday tea. On the way we stopped in Ludlow for a walk round and to call in to see his #No. 2 daughter in her shop.
While we were walking round the town we watched a secutity van being loaded onto a breakdown truck. It was in one of Ludlow's small and winding roads so they had little room to manoeuvre. The wheels were locked so they had to turn them with a metal tool. It all took quite a time!
F went and spoke to the van driver. Apparently he'd been to the building society to collect cash and then couldn't open the van door hence the manual turning of the wheels. F thanked him for the entertainment!
Afterwards we went to the birthday tea when all his family gathered for the celebration, it was lovely to see them all.
