And for my next trick!

Jack is always in a playful mood after his breakfast and in the cool of the morning.  He loves playing with the little piece of string that hangs down from a hook and which holds the windows open on windy days.  It's wonderful to see how such simple things can amuse him (and me!) for hours.

Apologies for more photos of little Jack but it is already almost too hot to be outside in the garden - 89 degrees Fahrenheit - and set to go up to 105 degrees this afternoon!  It's cooler to stay in the house which has lovely thick stone walls.  So apart from reading and lazing inside, I shall only venture out to swim in the pool from time to time.  Life is tough at times....
