Here goes again...

Horacio is a friend of mine who is quite the artist. Not that I am an expert by any stretch, but his work puts me in mind of Dali & Bacon. Lots of surreal grotesquery going on. Very striking in my opinion.

Anyway, he asked me a little while back to pose for him. However, it wasn´t me he wanted, just my body parts - in isolation!!

He's been taking photos of a number of his friends over the last while, as he's buliding up a database, if you like, of contorted poses: grimacing teeth, distorted, stretched muscles, oddly frowning eyes, that kind of thing.

Normally, I hate dislike being photographed, have done since I was a kid. But seeing as he wasn't asking me to smile, I didn't mind at all. Hopefully, he is going to send me copies of some of them, so I may link to them later.
