Amazing week

With Appleby Horse Fair and the Beer Festival to come it is time to reflect on a very different week at LPH.
Hot weather, windless days, is this really the Lake District?
The constants are still there; magnificent scenery, Johns unbounded enthusiasm (so infectious), Gails hospitality (especially the food which if anything is better than ever), the companionship of like minded people.
It is the things that were different that will make this trip memorable.
No visit to Threlkeld.
No hiding in the woods at Blea Tarn or Ullswater (Visits to the woods were for shade, not shelter).
No wet weather clothing (just shirts and suntan lotion).

A week of reflections and macro.
Flowers everywhere as Spring made up for lost time. Bluebells, Wild Garlic, Buttercups, and this little flower, whose name I have forgotten.

An amazing week indeed.
