Skeewiff - Funky Magic ft. The Jungle Brothers

It was nice spending the day with the Mrs and mother in law. Spent the day on the town having kaki gori (flavoured shaved ice), Napoli pizza and real spaghetti bolognese with ingredients and cooking method from Italy. I’m a sucker for this when it’s as close to the original recipe and ingredients as possible. I’ve had versions of it all my life and considered it “standard” food for everyone, however, I’ve been fascinated with the origins of food taken for granted and having tried to make original bolognese in the old school way reaped a lot of rewards.

Tasting it from professionals with real Parmigiano Reggiano is just music for your mouth. Despite it being a hot day, it was a lovely one.
