West Tower, Caerphilly Castle, South Wales

Privileged to be able to access areas of monuments closed to the public. Attracted to this shot for its Escher like qualities (don't flatter yourself boy ) of different geometrical forms.
This is a stone tile roof with the steps leading to fantastic panoramic views of the castleitself, Caerphilly and the surrounding countryside.
