Mutant mayhem

Last day of the summer holidays.

MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr were up and out the door early as CyclopsJnr had a GP appointment, then we went up town to see if they had any playtime shoes - CyclopsJnr is required to have robust playtime shoes (like a waterproof hiking shoe) for school and he informed us pretty late that his current ones hurt. Well the answer was no, seemingly no-one has any in a 2 at least not any costing less than fifty quid. A Mountain Warehouse pair were swiftly ordered from Amazon Prime, having been tried on in a 1 and a 3. He'll have to manage for a day.

Home to make sure all equipment was bagged up and in order for school tomorrow.

Then out again for the main event! A cinema trip to see Teenage mutant ninja turtles: Mutant mayhem. This film was very well received by CyclopsJnr. Also we were the only ones there, bonus. Everyone else round here is back to school already.

Late afternoon we were sent a kit list for P5 (err not hugely helpful timing) and as it turns out a surprise protractor is required for P5 so we swung by Asda to get one on the way home.

CyclopsJnr is very excited for P5.
