Ready

The flat is ready for Jeff & Margaret, who are coming for "supper" after ages.

We had to be out of the house for Nara in the morning, so we took the recycling and did it at Burj Al Arab beach as normal. Any excuse to be in the MG GT. We then picked up Miriam's mum and drove her to another friend's house for a short visit.

We checked out Park & Shop while we waited. After the visit, S needed to collect some trousers from a tailor. She also needed some meds. It all got done efficiently, and she was at her hotel in time for lunch. We got home in time for ours and for G to start cooking.

Nara cleans the flat beautifully, but there are things I still have to do, like the dusting. There's nothing like having visitors over to get your home into shape quickly. G laid the table and cooked a delicious meal.

Washing up quickly done by yours truly, we raced to the meeting. (We were very thin on the ground today). A leisurely drive to the Last Exit in Khawaneej followed - just to enjoy the new hire car.
