I made an effort to get up early and make the most of the early morning sunshine. The main blip and first extra are from the seafront at Aberdeen, taken around 7.30am. I had to take a detour to get back to the hotel as the most direct road was closed for tree-felling work but as check out was 11am I had plenty of time. We decided to take a more scenic route home than the A92 or A90 so drove to Crathes castle for a look around and coffee & cake. The second extra is from the gardens there, which are quite stunning. The third extra is a view from the Cairn o' Mount, with the heather in full bloom.
