Amish Market Shopping

This summer, my husband has delighted in taking the girls to the new Amish barns in Mechanicsville. Today, we had our grandson, too. Each child was allowed to choose one item. This one picked a box of peaches. Her sister wanted a chocolate whoopie pie, and our grandson opted for a sugar cube canteloupe. My husband grabbed a box of pickling cucumbers to make Old Bay pickles. I came away with a blip.
Today was my last full day with the girls for the summer. They will be here tomorrow morning but will leave early for Kindergarten Orientation. I will miss the squeals of laughter, the tales of magic, and their endless imaginations.
