Long road to the aisles
Weekend grocery shopping. But the morning is so warm and friendly, I turn on my heel after parking at the back of Bridge Plaza and saunter off into town. Poke my nose into a couple of places, walk up the main street, then loop back round along the waterfront on Murra Mia Walkway. And here I am, looking across to the Clyde Street foreshore, with the front of the Plaza in sight. That's Innes' Boatshed in the foreground, and at this time of day there are only a couple of customers enjoying their fish and chips on the rear deck. I still don't quite make it to the supermarket, stopping at the Wharf Cafe Grill for a flat white. The shopping is easy after that, and away I go to collect Mrs Dominie for our lunch date. Back on the waterfront, we sit down to a toothsome Seafood Risotto at the Blank Canvas. We're home now. Time to take it easy.
