Plant from my Japanese neighbours

Name of the plant is Hydrangea macrophylla, family Hydrangeaceae, native to Japan.

I hope I get the name of plant right. Correct me, if not.

My Japanese neighbours asked me to look after this plant for them till they return from Japan. Return date is unknown as her husband is unwell.

While I think this one is going, but it starts flowering at present. Let’s hope it continues. Fingers crossed.
