Dropped my car off for MOT and then caught the bus into town for coffee with JS. Nice to catch up but the coffee shop was very stuffy. Got a call from Careline whilst I was there - dad’s alarm had gone off and he wasn’t responding to them. Managed to get hold of his next door neighbour who went round to check on him. False alarm - he was wood turning in the shed and didn’t realise he had pressed the button. Got the bus back and collected the car. Did some financial admin, defrosted the freezer in the store room and pottered in the garden a bit before J arrived to help construct the garden table and put up the trellis. Third time lucky for the garden table- everything fitted. Hurray!
