Shutters: Minimalism

I have various walks I can go on in my neighbourhood. I sometimes pass this house with shutters (I love shutters). My favourite shot is this one taken just as the sun was rising and caught the edge of the shutter.

I have had shutters on houses I have lived it. They feel special. I like that they rattle a little when it's windy and the rain makes a pitter-patter noise and it feels snug inside. They are also great for creating shade at the heat of day.

The heat continues
relentlessly,
mercilessly,
but the rain
is coming
and we shall all rejoice!

Two more nights of torrid heat  and we can welcome a feel of autumn, at last!
