This fellow was a LONG way up.

In other news I went for a hearing test (and a hoovering) this morning.  Not particularly because I feel I'm missing anything, at least, not any more than I knew I'd lost decades ago when tinnitus kicked in on one side. 

Appears that hole is bigger than I thought it was.
