Kayaking

A glorious morning. I took my kayak to Smith Cove along with my good camera. I was really hoping for seals but none had made it to the rocks yet. I guess I have to time the low tide after it's at it's lowest and started to rise. Today it was still a couple hours from it's low point. But it was beautiful and this cool red sail boat was moored out in the cove.

I did save a cute little white butterfly by scooping it out of the water. It hung around in the kayak drying off. By the time I got back to shore I found it and scooped it up to put it on a flower. It escaped my hand and started climbing my arm and then I lost it. I figured it had flown off. I got up to my car and there it was climbing out on my glasses...lol.. So I finally did put it on a flower and then thought I should take a photo of it. Well, of course, by the time I'd gotten back to the flower I couldn't find it. It was a sweet little connection.

Then home for some grocery shopping  and then a bit a relaxing before I drove to Ellsworth to see some friends and have a margarita. It was a very enjoyable day.
