More cosy crime
I enjoyed this first book in the series. There are a lovely bunch of characters in this series so I am looking forward to reading through them all.
It was GCSE results day. Leo had been fairly relaxed until all the news about them toughening things up emerged and details of grades being down. He didn’t sleep well and in the morning managed to put soap on his toothbrush instead of toothpaste in his distracted state. Thankfully he realised before actually setting to with the brush!
He headed in around 10am and then came the relieved text! Phew! He passed everything with flying colours and came home not long after the text all beaming smiles! He was on a high all day. We celebrated with a nice lunch out and then he chilled for the afternoon before footie training in the evening.
He looked so tired when he got in from that around 10pm. I bet he had the best sleep ever after all that anxiety and activity through the day.
So next week he gets to go and enrol for College. He knows he can do what he applied for as he earned beyond all the grades he was asked for. So no stress there, he can just go and confirm his choices and then have a few more weeks of the lazy life before knuckling down to A levels.
What a relief!
