Argostoli

Today we went to the capital, Argostoli.
We enjoyed walking along the waterfront, poking around in the shops, having and ice cream in the town and drinks by the water.
However, the best thing was a couple of sightings of large turtles swimming in the bay - one even popped its head up out of the water. Very exciting!!
In the afternoon we went to the beach at Lassi - too busy for us, but the sea was fabulous to swim in.
Dinner out at a different taverna in our village was delicious and afterwards we played games outside our villa - it’s very warm at night but with a breeze, so lovely to sit out in.
