Stating the obvious

Nil By Mouth...My Mum hasn't managed to eat more than a mouthful of food for nearly three weeks.

Whilst visiting, I got to meet the surgeon and discussed the plan of action. Just after I left my mum was put on the surgery ward in preparation for her operation. I think they are planning to operate either tomorrow or more likely Saturday. 

She is on a Glucose drip now too as her Blood sugar levels were low. They are also putting a nose feed in tonight to get liquid food into her. She is still remarkably chatty and managed to Facetime Orla today which made her day.
