The state of the sunflowers round here.

We had plenty of lightening in the night but not a drop of rain. All the storms were east of Saintes and missed us completely. Quite disappointing really.
Then it was breezy and sunny and the temperatures were a lovely 25 degrees or so.
We’re popping out to a friend’s birthday celebration this evening but won’t stay late as we have another changeover tomorrow, and this time it’s no1 son and his family coming to stay!
