Took the kids to the customs and tax museum, which also houses ‘the money-lab’ in which kids can try out earning and spending money wisely. All kinds of traps (expensive mystery boxes you can buy but don’t return anything valuable, small print, options to lend money, but also earn money by saving and getting interest) allowed them to see how challenging it can be to get around and make sure you have enough money to buy the necessities before you can splurge on fun and games.

In the end they were still afloat, but it could’ve been much better.
